The motor industry is constantly evolving and it is vitally important as a repairer to keep up with technological advancements. Glasurit Automotive Paints:
At Scientific the finished product is all important and for that the Zammit Family have chosen the Glasurit Paint Brand from BASF Coatings Germany as a refinishing product. The Glasurit brand is world renowned for its superior finish and gloss as well as colour accuracy. We have been using the Glasurit brand for over twenty years and our qualified technitians are consulted and trained regularly by the manufacturer and our distributor, Sydney Automotive Paints and Equipment. Many of the Glasurit products have low VOC levels thus ensuring that Scientific Motor Body Works are doing their bit for the environment. The Glasurit Brand has more recommendations from the Car Manufacturer than any other brand available in our market.

Barcoding:
To monitor our technician performance and track the flow a vehicle through the workshops, we have designed and implemented a bar coding system, where each stage of every repair is time measured with a computerised bar-coding system. This is the basis of out profit sharing program with our technicians

Recycling Machinery:
Consciously reducing our environmental footprint, we have invested in state of the art cardboard and water recycling infrastructure.

Celette Jigging Benches:
Scientific are equipped with a range of repair equipment supplied from Celette France. The Celette repair system includes the major European Car Maker approved MZ Jigging System which guarantees a straight and accurate repair. The system also includes the world famous NAJA Computerised Measuring System which holds data with the dimensions of thousands of vehicles and models. The measuring device can track and monitor the repair using car maker data and provides a confirmed print out on the accuracy of the repair. This specialized equipment is strongly recommended by car makers such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volvo, Jaguar, Rolls Royce and many more..

Autoliner Systems:
Scientific regularly handles large and small repairs with finesse. To aid in the repair process our facilities are equipped with the Australian Made Autoliner Car Straightening and Measuring System. As many as thirteen of these versatile repair systems are in use in the body shops and have always been regarded in the industry as a great repair system.

I.R.T. Infra Red Curing Technology:
Scientific has a goal to repair the car correctly, quickly and with a tough, glossy finish. To aid in the faster and harder curing of their paint refinishes we use the Swedish made I.R.T. Infra Red curing technology. The infrared process utilizes short wave technology to fully cure the surface coating all the way through to the base metal. This ensures the paint is baked just like the car makers want it. The infrared process assists in providing the superior gloss most cars owners expect after their vehicle is repaired.

Jollift Masterbench:
At Scientific, we are renowned for providing a quality repair, but also in the fastest possible time, to get our customers back on the road. To optimize repair times we have installed the Italian made Jollift Masterbench. With multiple units in our repair bays these strong, straightening benches can be used for small, medium or large repairs. They are quick to load and are ergonomically designed to reduce work strain on the repair technician. The Jollift Masterbench is European repair technology at its best, to assist in returning the damaged car to pre accident condition.

Wielander & Schill Repair Technologies:
At Scientific we specialise in the repair of Prestige and Late Model cars. These vehicles, in many cases, and particularly the European models, are being manufactured using some exotic steels such as Boron to make the car stronger and lighter. These new steels require very specific technology for welding during the repair process. Scientific Motor Body Works are equipped with this technology supplied by Wielander & Schill of Germany. The special InvertaSpot and Mig Brazing welders have car manufacturer approval and are the latest technology available in the world.
